Restivo Tours might be new on the Web, but I have been giving tours of Washington, DC for as long as I’ve lived here! I began by giving tours to my family and friends who visited the city, and I hope that when you’re on tour with me, you’ll feel at home, too!
I’ve recently built upon that passion for sharing our nation’s history with family and friends and become a licensed District of Columbia Tour Guide, and a member of the Guild for Professional Tour Guides. I’ve given tours for many companies, including Gerber Tours, Academic, Capitol City Events, American Travel International (ATI), and Washington Walks.
I’ve worked at the United States Capitol Visitor Center and for Cultural Tourism, DC, researching and writing engaging tours for a wide array of audiences. I’m proud to be a volunteer for the US Capitol Historical Society here in Washington as well.
In addition to my work experience, I am also a trained historian. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in History at Saint Vincent College and my Master’s Degree in History at Duquesne University, both in Pennsylvania.
